This course is designed for beginners and intermediate artists. We start from scratch and walk you through each step, so you don’t need any prior experience. The students who get the best results are the ones who draw regularly (even 20–30 minutes a day), follow the lessons in order, and stick with it through to the end of the course.

30 days is a realistic timeframe to go through the course, learn the method, and start seeing improvement, not a rigid daily schedule. The lessons themselves are self‑paced: you can move through them faster or slower depending on your life and how much you practice. The course gives you the tools and process. Your biggest growth comes from continuing to draw and apply what you’ve learned after you’ve finished the lessons.

In this course, we use a tracing method to create the initial outline from a reference photo. This lets you skip the most frustrating early stage and focus on learning shading, proportions, features, and realism.

Freehand drawing is a separate skill that improves with repetition. I’ll show you how to use tracing as a learning tool, and I encourage you to also practice freehand outlines on your own to build confidence and accuracy over time.
